This June we shared Lindley and Caleb's creative engagement session with you; Now this couple is happily hitched and we can finally share all these wonderful wedding photos with you! Stables on the Hill provided an amazing backdrop and atmosphere for this vintage DIY wedding! Lindley and Caleb spent their weekends finding treasures together at flea markets and antique shops, they incorporated many items they collected together into their day. They also used many items from their family history such as handmade quilts, old and rare mason jars and even their Great Grandmother's camera.
We absolutely loved the theme and colors at this wedding, but the most spectacular detail was Lindley's flowers. Not only did Pigmint provide unique flower arrangements, for Lindley's bouquet they imported a very rare flower from Africa called "Protea, the King flower". It was a show stopper!
Lindley knew exactly how she wanted their day to go, she didn't even need to hire a planner; The couple did everything together, making their day even more special. With plenty of DIY details, the couple spent a lot of time creating everything from wedding favors to the large "S" wreath that hung from the balcony of the barn!
Even though the day was filled with rain it all stopped at the most important moments and the sun popped out right as their ceremony began; this wedding was so beautiful and it all came together for this couple despite the rainy weather! We are so happy to be a part of it!
Lindley designed and printed the wedding day programs herself and turned them into fans!
Lindley's rare and unique boquet featuring the Protea, or the King flower shipped in from Africa!
Lindley ordered her wedding dress from David's Bridal without even trying it on, it was the perfect fit and everything she ever imagined in a wedding dress!
Lindley knew she wanted the color pink, a childhood obsession and nickname (Pinky) from her father, to be represented during her special day!
We love all the different mixed styles and shades of pinks on the bridesmaids!
Lindley got this scotty dog charm to remind her of her own scotty dog, who couldn't attend the wedding, how sweet!
Lindley's headpiece was created by Pigmint, and was a perfect dainty compliment to her simple and elegant dress.
The groomsmen were stylish in their suspender's and vintage striped ties.
Caleb sported the only Bow tie of the day!
We loved this beautifully handcrafted jewelry box that Caleb presented to Lindley during their first look!
Instead of flowers, the "flower girl" threw paper hearts that were cute from vintage books!
Lindley and Caleb literally "tied the knot" instead of lighting a unite candle, the fisherman's knot they tied together represents the strength of their unity. They plan to hang it in their home as a reminder!
Caleb's father restored this 1977 yellow jeep as their getaway car!
Lindley and Caleb had over a dozen pies and other desserts brought in and made by their closet family members and friends. Many of the desserts were made with famous recipes that have been passed down for years within their family.
